Ceramic Grade CMC / PAC
INTRODUCTION
Sodium CMC can be used in ceramic bodies, glaze slurries and fancy glazes.
In the ceramic body, sodium carboxymethylcellulose can be used to improve the molding of the mud, which is beneficial to the molding of the body and increases the flexural strength of the body. It is a good reinforcing agent; in glaze slurry and fancy patterns In the glaze, CMC can be used as a binder to suspend, depolymerize and retain water.
APPLICATION IN CERAMIC BODIES
Small dosage can significantly improve the plasticity of mud and the flexural strength of raw materials; good loss on ignition, no residue after burning; strong suspension and dispersion to prevent the agglomeration of raw
material particles.
APPLICATION IN CERAMIC GLAZE SLURRY
Protects the dispersion of colloid and keeps the glaze slurry in a stable dispersion state; can effectively increase the tension of the glaze surface, prevent water from diffusing from the glaze surface to the body, and increase the smoothness of the glaze surface; under a small amount of conditions , can effectively adjust the rheological properties of the glaze slurry, making it easy to glaze; it can improve the bonding performance of the glaze surface, significantly increase the strength of the glaze surface, and prevent the glaze surface from peeling off; the glaze surface has high fineness and the glaze slurry is stable.
APPLICATION IN CERAMIC FANCY GLAZE
Good acid and alkali resistance, good permeability to the screen, effectively reducing the screen wipes and reducing color difference; good rheology, smooth printing, and no insoluble matter.
