Papermaking Grade CMC

YUCMC®Papermaking Grade CMC can be used for three processes during the paper making production: pulping, size press and coating. in the pulping process act as wet end additive that can help increase the strength of paper well. in size press and coating process act as retention agent and dispersing agent that can regulate the rheology during the coating process.

IN COATING

CMC has water retention ability, improve the rheological property and water retention of the coating;

Improve the color of paper and the retention rate of whitening agent in paint;

Improve coating content and coating quality;

Make the paper coating more smooth and bright.

IN PULP

CMC interacts with the fibers in the paper to enhance the physical strength of the paper;

Promote paper forming;

Improve the uniformity of paper.

IN SURFACE SIZING

It can be used as a dispersant to maintain the stability of the whole rubber material and reduce the porosity of paper;

Increase the smoothness and gloss of the paper; Improve paper oil resistance and surface strength;

Improve the printing quality of paper;

Improve wear resistance.
