INTRODUCTION

The mud containing CMC can effectively protect the borehole wall, form a dense mud cake with low permeability, and reduce the water loss. It has good compatibility with other polymers, strong suspension capacity, can timely and efficiently clean drilling cuttings, and after cooperation, it can protect the drilling fluid with low solid phase and low dispersion of clay, and it is also an excellent filtrate loss reducer.
